Social Media Policy

The Municipal Act, 2001 permits the Township of James to adopt procedures,
including procedures for giving notice of the passage of by-laws.

 The Township of James has adopted By-Law 03-01 for giving notice of the
passage of by-laws as well as Procedural By-Law 04-01 governing the
procedure for matters coming before Council.

Council for the Township of James will adopt Draft By-Law 26-16, BEING A
BY-LAW TO ADOPT A SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY at the October 12th, 2026 Regular
Council Meeting.
