This community museum and archives interprets the history of the Elk Lake area. Displays relate the history of the local mining, logging, lumbering and agricultural industries, as well as that of the area’s schools and churches. Early Canadian artifacts and memorabilia from World Wars I and II are also exhibited.

Saturday	10am - 6pm Closed at 1pm on June 29th for a Celebration of Life.

We would like to take a moment to honour Debbie Lance Desormeaux and her dedication and love of Elk Lake. She was the face of our museum for many years and such a supportive person in our community. Debbie will be missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing her.
