Elk Lake Heritage Museum
This community museum and archives interprets the history of the Elk Lake area. Displays relate the history of the local mining, logging, lumbering and agricultural industries, as well as that of the area’s schools and churches. Early Canadian artifacts and memorabilia from World Wars I and II are also exhibited.
The Elk Lake Heritage Museum is now open for the 2025 season! We are excited for you to see the amazing progress. However, we are still working hard to finalize the setup of the museum. We kindly ask that you stay off the grass in front of the parking area until it has been leveled. Thank you for your understanding!
