Every Thursday beginning at 7:00 a.m there is garbage pick up. Please have your garbage bagged and in bins so the animals don't get into it. Limit of 5 bags at the curb.

Spring Hours as of March 8th
- Tuesday 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
The Recycling Depot at the James Township landfill will be CLOSED as of January 27th 4pm.Circular Materials will be putting their own bins at the Dump for residents to use. Please refer to the list of accepted materials found on the Circular Materials Website.
James’ recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a national not-for-profit organization that is committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in Ontario.

Recycling in James will transition to a cart-based collection system, with pickup moving to every other Monday

Please follow the instructions located at the bottom of your new blue bin and have recycling out by 7am.

Some residents have let us know that a few houses did not get a 95 gallon recycling cart.
If you did not receive a 95 gallon recycling bin, please contact GFL Environmental directly.
