This park was dedicated in Memory of Jack Munroe, the first mayor of Elk City.

Community Garden
The Elk Lake Community Garden was established in 2016 by the Elk Lake Recreation Committee to serve as a place for community members of all ages to gather together outdoors and learn about the joys of gardening together.

Each year in the spring The Elk Lake Recreation Committee partners with the Elk Lake Public school and Aide Creek Gardens to host a plant day. The kids get their hands dirty planting the garden while learning some tips from Aide Creek Gardens; everyone gets a plant to take home! We welcome all community members.
