By-Law 26-12: Council Vacancy Policy

N O T I C E

 

The Municipal Act, 2001 permits the Township of James to adopt procedures, including procedures for giving notice of the passage of by-laws.

 

The Township of James has adopted By-Law 03-01 for giving notice of the passage of by-laws as well as Procedural By-Law 04-01 governing the procedure for matters coming before Council.

 

Council for the Township of James will adopt Draft By-law No. 2026-12 Being a by-law to adopt a Council Vacancy Policy for the Township of James at the August 12^th, 2026 Regular Council Meeting.

 

Anyone who wishes to make written or oral submissions with respect to By-Law 26-13 shall submit a request to the Township office by Friday, August 7^th 4:30p.m.
